Default MAP 6: Viewport Area Anomaly - paperspace objects don't show

It's a 6.1 mgbyte file. 55 layouts have been created by right clicking a tab and copying an existing layout. Everything was o.k. until 50-plus layouts had been achieved and suddenly, linework and text placed within the viewport while in paper space began to disappear. There are no frozen layers and all layers are turned on. Sending the viewport 'behind' does not resolve the issue. Locking the viewport does not either. Only that portion of text or linework extending outside of the viewport border is viewable.

The view thru to the model remains viewable, but the area of the viewport while in paper space becomes a black hole, so to speak. Now, creating a new layout either by pulldown or by copying an existing layout results in the same problem. The first 11 tabs do not exhibit this problem.

Is there a miss-set setting or is this a software issue?

make a copy of the drawing to work with first. then, in the copy run AUDIT. If that fixes it, great, if not, delete the first 50 layouts, save to a new name, and see if that file works properly. If not, make anew copy of your original file, and delete the _last_ 50 layouts. Does that work?

For a variety of reasons, having 55 sheets in a single dwg file is probably not the best work process. I will sometimes go as far as a dozen layouts, but that's kinda rare. It's usually better to have multiple DWG and use Xrefs to create the sheets you'll be plotting

Thank you for your advice. A software re-install has resolved the issue. However, one has to create a new tab ONLY by right clicking on a tab and then copying it. Using the insert/pulldown menu to create a new tab results in the same old wipeout. If a wipeout occurs, one has to delete that tab. There are three drawing files making up the project. Each is a constellation of 3D objects for viewing - front, side, top and isometric. Only one file has had this problem, to date.

New anomaly in Map 6: newly reinstalled software. First/initial fraction automatically brings up an interface which asks what type of stacking is desirable. The selection of angled/stacked fractions. MTEXT maneuver offers no respite: the choice thereat is only a horizontal fraction or a vertical stacked fraction - with no choice/chance to select an angled/stacked fraction as like the OSTENSIBLE selection posed in the initial interface.

4 days later: problem resolved via MTEXT. Highlighting the fraction and then right clicking. A pop up will appear with the choice of converting to diagonal fraction. Voila.
