Why do the lines in my drawing print so faded?

I believe a lot of the problem is the version of AutoCAD LT that I am using. It appears I am using a version from 1996 (Ver 3) because when I print I do not get a window as shown in one of the responses. I did discover on thing. All my newer drawings are faded out so I loaded an old drawing and the line weight is fine with that drawing. It appears something was changed in the Half Size.dwg file that I was using as a template. My drawings have all been half size so I loaded that template and created the drawing using it. So I guess I will have to find all the faded out drawings and copy them into the new template I created that has the proper line weight. Below is a screen shot of the print window I get when I print. Thanks for the additional suggestions.

Holy cr@p!! that is pre-2000, pen assignments were using a PCP file (if I remember correctly). I don't know what to tell you, it's been way too long since I've dealt with that.
Maybe someone else has some advice.

BTW this thread is in AutoCAD LT - General and you added (chose) the prefix to your title: 2016 "2016: Why do the lines in my drawing print so faded" and so that leads us to believe you're using "AutoCAD LT version 2016".

That's old enough that it's probably expecting a real pen plotter, and after 20 odd years, I don't remember what the tricks were to get an inkjet to do lineweights.

Might I suggest that you scrap that software, and if totally unwilling to spend money, download and install the free Draftsight progam? Or if its' worth doing the kob, purchase a seat of BricsCAD or Ares Commander???? Heck, even CorelCAD..... At least there'll be a chance someone could help answer questions.
