Add Layer Descriptions

Is there anyway to customise the Quick Properties OR Layer Combo Box - to display the Layer "Description" Column ?

The reason i want to be able to do this is for language barriers.
Integration between two of our offices one Danish one English.
We wish to use the same layer system / templates etc.

Best case is Danish employees use the NAME column and English use the DESCRIPTION.
In the layer manager we have just moved the columns over and it works well. but drop down boxes are a little trickier.

Any help would be very much appreciated.

Not as far as I can see.

Periscope is a 3rd party tool that might help. It does not do what you want out of the box, but it does say you can write your own .NET extender to modify this tool to display whatever you want.

No. There is no way with AutoLISP to modify either of those items. You may need to look into a .NET solution to handle this.
