2016 Options Menu

Recently l have tried to remove some line items from my Options Menu.

The process use to be very simple in versions before 2016.
You would click on the line you wanted to remove, hit the remove button and hit Apply.
The line item was removed, and DID NOT TO SHOW UP AGAIN.

For some reason, in 2016, no matter how often I remove an item it come back the next day, or next time I start AutoCAD.
Has anyone else had this problem?
Is their a work around?

AutoCAD if your monitoring, why are you forcing the program to keep re-loading something I've told it to remove?

I presume you are talking about something on the Files tab, such as the support file search path?
Nothing has changed with AutoCAD 2016.
Perhaps you have some startup code running that is doing it.
Are you in an office environment where someone may be running some startup code w/o your knowledge?

Are you trying to remove paths associated with a plug-in? As far as the program is concerned it is doing as it is told - the autoloader mechanism is telling AutoCAD it needs those paths. You need to remove the plug-in(s) in order to keep the paths from being added back in.

OK that sounds like it might work, but where and how do I remove the Paths?

I've spent most of this morning, resetting the program back to the default as suggested.
I've remove all my old programs using the control panel, uninstall program.

Still cannot prevent AutoCAD Options/ Files/ Support File Search Path from reloading menus and programs that I have repeatedly

give us some details... Exactly what lines are you trying to remove that come back?? Screenshots help
