Does anyone know how I can remove an old printer from the name drop down list in the print dialog of Revit?

That should remove it from all printer lists in all programs. If it's not installed, it cannot be used.

Does the plotter show up in other programs?

Have you verified that it was removed from the computer by going to the Devices and Printers section in control panel?

Is it possible that you have a Printer Setup saved that address that old printer?

That was a good idea, bu no there aren't any printer setups besides the default. However I do now see that the printer in question has a status of "Pending deletion: 3 documents waiting". I must've tried to print with it, the print jobs failed, so I deleted the printer. Anyone know where can I purge these pending printing jobs?
