    Update for Revit 2017:
Attached is a tool I wrote specifically to clean up un-purgeable family line styles, with a few enhancements. Revit 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017.

    dbartlett,
I have downloaded your StylePurge.zip and have installed it according to your instructions but nothing happens. I am running 2016. I placed all three files in the 2016 folder in the C:\ProgramData\Autodesk\Revit\Addins\2016 per the instructions in the ReadMe.txt file. I can see it in the tab in the Add-In>External Tools tab but when i click it nothing happens. No dialog box or anything. Have I done something wrong. Please advise how I may fix this. I have may line types that i want to clean out of our typical details we use on a daily basis.

    Thank you,
    Drafter_1967

    Hi,
Most unusual. Is there any command active? Or can you just go and select something as though nothing has been clicked? Do you have dual monitors? I am wondering if the dialog box is hidden somewhere. I can re-compile and provide you a replacement. Bit of a stab in the dark, maybe the .NET version. Please check those couple of things and then I will re-compile and re-test. Revit 2016 SP?
    Regards,
    Dale

Hi, I checked the code, framework version, and tested. There is nothing that I could see to change, and I have had no similar feedback. Do you have the latest 2016 Service Patch? If this is a bug I certainly want it to be resolved. Please keep me updated as to your test results. Dale

    Dale,
I am having the same issue as Drafter_1967 for Revit 2016. I can see it in the tab in the Add-In>External Tools tab but when i click it nothing happens. No dialog box or anything.
