Default New ASUS PB287Q monitor causing AutoCAD to shrink

I am new to this forum but need to fix/adjust autoCAD 2014 screen since I purchased a new monitor. I have started a new project and my old monitor died and I replaced it with an ASUS PB287Q LCD monitor. Everything viewed now is super small on this 28" monitor. I went into the options tab and selected display and checked "use large buttons for toolbars" and that helped but not for my tray sizes, which are still small. My monitor resolution is 3840x2160 (recommended). My computer's processor speed is 3.4 GHz and I have a NVIDIA Quadro K2000 adaptor. What to do?

Monitor resolution is set too high.....sometimes "recommended resolution" isn't the right one for Autocad. Also experiment with text size on the same resolution page in Windows 10.

My first post on Augi.......but I've been using Autocad since Version 2.4.......yeah, I'm that old. Sorry, tho, I STILL don't know everything.

    Welcome to AUGI Forums!
I started with r12, it's great to hear from a user who's been around almost from the first release.

v2.1 here, circa 1985, IIRC 'variables and expressions' was the hot new feature then.

Actually I'm considering that same monitor for home to upgrade my ASUS 24", and am curious how that might work with running AutoCAD products on a company desktop via Remote Desktop. Any insight on that situation?

I ended up getting the ASUS PA278QV Pro Art monitor , 2560 x 1440, and that works pretty well for Acad/Map . $333 with two day shipping from B&H Photo. My other Asus monitor was a Pro Art model also, so now running with a 27, a 24, and a 19 at home

You might have to play around with screen resolution a bit to see which feels best when you use autocad.
