labels vanishing

hi,
I made a family that the user can toggle between 3 versions. I bring in the family (say version "a") and apply a tag; no issues.
Then I change the family to version "b" & the tag vanishes. even returning to version "a" the tag is gone.

The tag references a "type" field for the info (not an instance, but tried both ways & same result)

Can someone explain what is occurring? (using mep 2014 if relevant)

hi,
it's morning (the next day) & the 3 files are acting as expected (project.rvt, family.rfa & tag.rfa)
perhaps the gremlins are still sleeping.
