    Default Importing from AutoCAD

Is it possible to import a 2d map from AutoCAD into AutoCAD Map? The original map would have been created by GIS software and then imported into AutoCAD. If so, would this work for any version?

    Thanks,
    KG

AutoCAD MAP3D is built on top of AutoCAD (Standard) so if you can open the dwg in AutoCAD then you can open it in AutoCAD Map3D.
