Default Electrical Panel Schedule loads not propagating correctly?

    Hello,

We have noticed (on Revit 2015), on several different projects, that there is some error in which a downstream panel's loads per phase are showing up reduced on upstream panel schedules.

I know a couple known bugs, and we have checked that none of the loads are spares with dummy loads, and all power factors are set to 1. See attached pictures. EL1AC/HS is the upstream panel feeding EL2AC/HS. You will notice that the third phase is the same on both schedules, but the other two phases are not.

Does anyone know what's going on here?

First thought - make sure all of your connectors are balanced rather than unbalanced. You might also take a look at any demand/diversity factors applied to the loads.

Thank you for the advice. We have made sure all demand is set to "Default"... but even if it weren't, shouldn't the connected load be propagating instead of demand?

We did find a family that was "unbalanced", but changing it to "balanced" did not fix the problem.

You're losing exactly 229 VA from both the A & B phases, so either you've got a load equal to that that's not translating or you've got something with a power factor that is reducing the load by that much. I don't think there's anything you can do other than check each individual load on those phases for the discrepancy. It really looks like a power factor issue to me.
