Default Neophyte API user trying to learn the ropes.

Hello there internet land, I am currently dipping my toes into Revit API and have been stumped. I am using the Autodesk tutorial 'My First Plugin' (the one that has you work with a place group command).

New problem: command loads, allows me to pick a group, then fails to 'paste' the group.

My biggest problem is not having an 'Add-in' tab in Revit (2014). I read that you need to have generated the addin in said folder, but I think I may have a file path wrong. I am looking for some guidance on what information I need to actually put in the .addin or which folder to place it.
It seems part of my confusion comes from having Revit on my d: drive, or how I've named/saved my actual API / .dll file in the Addin file. (if any of this makes sense)

    (Fixed)
    -Thanks in advance
    G
