Trench Creation

Thanks to anyone who is able to point me in the right direction:

I have a slope that I am looking to put a trench in. I need the sides to be at the same height, and then the uphill side to then daylight out at some point up the slope. I am trying to keep this as simple and basic as possible, so what I am trying to do is figure out how to accomplish this in my subassembly. So, if I make the left side just simply daylight with a very steep slope (like 1:1000), how can I make the right side (uphill side) slope up and stop at whatever height the left side daylighted at? Then, the right side would then need to daylight onto the existing slope at a 1.5:1 slope.

See the attached sketch to get an idea of what I am trying to accomplish.

Creating a offset profile thru the existing surface at the left side of the ditch will give you a vertical design element to use in your corridor.

How would I link this offset profile to the corridor?

On the right side you could use a vertical link with the top elevation controlled by that left profile line. The vertical link will use it for the elevation and not care where it was taken horizontally.
