    Default Lock circle extrusions

    Hello!

I am modeling a desk and I am now trying to get it parametrical and have different types of lenghts in the family. The issue I have is that I don't know how to lock the round table legs to the tabletop. Any suggestions is very appreciated!

    Thanks!

Assuming they aren't nested and that they are a simple extrusion within the family.
Go to edit the extrusion, select the circle, in the properties window, check the "show Center mark" and align and lock the center mark to ref planes that are set based off the outside edge of the desk.
You could then make that dimension a parameter (say leg offset) that was Leg Radius + 1" or something like that so the leg is always inset from the edge of table.
I'm just assuming this is what you were going for.

If the leg is nested, you should be able to align and lock the leg via insertion ref planes to leg offset location.

    Hope this helps.
