Drop down list parameter

I want to create Revit MEP families with drop down menu parameters (including predefined values). Like rectangular ducts ...

I don't think it works like that. When you get a drop down menu for a duct, it's just showing you information that has been entered in to the project file.

Instead you could create types in your family, create shared parameters for your predefined values, and then fill out the parameters for each type.
