Summary: Light fixture that are hosted to ceiling/work planes should be able to use the void extrusion that is in the family to cut through any object linked into the model.

Description: typically in the industry the architectural model and MEP model are two files linked together, the lighting analysis performed with Ilum tools is being utilized and the light fixtures that are in the project have a void to cut through the ceiling if it were located in the revit model. if the ceiling is linked the light fixture void will not cut the ceiling. this ability would greatly save time and would seem to makes sense in general for a void to cut through and object regardless if it is in the file or linked.
