    Default Filled Regions not Printing

I have an issue which is probably tied into the PDF driver / creator, but is also a general Revit problem from what I can tell.

    Here is the set-up:
In version 2013, I encountered a problem where filled regions were printing in some floor plans, but not in others. Weird, because they all used the same view template.
Fast forward a few years to version 2015...

Our office will design and document a high-rise project in Revit 2015. We are using a second file to deal with repetitive dimensioning and the graphics for shaft-openings.
This file is linked into the main file, and a referenced view is applied the view filter.
I go to print...and...the filled regions are not displaying properly. (In fact, displaying exactly as they did in my 2013 project.)

In the 2013 project, it only affected a handful of sheets, so I was willing to let it slide. In this project, it will apply to hundreds of sheets.
    This is not acceptable.
    Raster-printing is also unacceptable.

Can anyone recommend either a PDF printer, or some quirky places where this error is hiding?
