Default CIvil 3D 2017 Alignments from 2016 Shown Incorrectly

    Hello All.

We had a large subdivision with numerous alignments created in 2016. We have now loaded and are running 2017 now. We opened our 2017 alignment base file and all of the alignment curve geometry has inverted the curves.

If we change the alignment style to 'Basic' - the alignment geometry is changed back to its original layout. We can then perform a select similar of the alignment geometry and change the alignment style back to our standard alignment style and it keeps the correct geometry. The problem is when we save, close and go back into the drawing, all of the curve geometry is shown incorrect again...

We even tried exporting to LandXML and re-importing the alignments back into the drawing. They look correct but when you save, close and re-open the drawing, the curves go back to being inverted.

    Welcome to AUGI.

I've not experienced this behavior with 2017; I understand that simply opening the older, original drawing had undesired behavior, but when you used LandXML, which drawing template did you import the Alignment, a template you setup, or the OOTB template?

Do you have Level of Detail enabled? If so try disabling it, and consider your GRAPHICSCONFIG Settings.

Did you try recreating the Style, or are you still using the legacy version Style?

    Cheers

    See this post.
It works for me, until they fix it for good.
