Default Window Styles- Sill elements not displaying, will not display as opening percentage.

Only one side of the wall below shows up at the sill. it switches to the other side the direction arrow is clicked. In Display Properties both A and B are on.

Since creating this new style, it will not open the specified percentage under Properties.

    Thanks!

Can you reply and attach a sample file that contains a Wall with an instance of your Window Style inserted into it?

The door percentage opening not displaying correctly self-corrected.

Attached is a file that displays the window sill problem.

Two Windows that were in the lower left corner of that file displayed in the way you described. Both hosting Walls Display Settings have lines below openings (which includes Windows) at the cut plane turned off. Both Windows had an object-level Display Override set for the Sill Display Representation. In the Override, Sill A is turned off, and all of the offsets for both Sill components were set to 0, giving the display as seen.

Select one of the Windows, right click and choose Edit Object Display from the context menu. In the Object Display dialog, select the Display Properties tab, and then select the Sill Plan item. Note the check mark in the Object Overrides column. With the Sill Plan Display Representation still selected, select the Edit Display Properties button. The Display Properties dialog for the Window Override will appear, and you can see and edit the settings, if desired.

I would caution against having a large number of object overrides in your files. These should be reserved for unique conditions, where creating a separate style is more overhead than it would be worth. If you have two or more instances with the same object overrides, it will probably be better to create a separate style and manage the display overrides at the style level. With object-level overrides, you have to edit each instance separately, should there need to be changes in the future, while a style level override can be edited once and it will be applied to all instances of that style (that do not have an object-level override).
