Default Where to Look for A Software Engineer For Revit?

Our company is looking to create an addon to Revit that basically exports conduit runs, conduit bend information and the like. Then that information can be put into a bending machine. Curious where to find someone to discuss this with. All the software people we have talked to don't know anything about Revit and want nothing to do with it. Any info would be great.

The first thing I would do is look through the apps already available (many are at https://apps.autodesk.com/RVT/en/List/Search?facet=). Even if you don't find what you're looking for, you can see who develops apps and contact a few to see if they can help you.
