Default Floors not visible in plan views

trying to remember how I can make floors visible in my Revit Structure framing and foundation plans. I used copy/monitor to bring the floor in from the architectural link, but despite being created by the structural floor command, the floor is not visible in structural plans (I have verified that floors are turned on in VG - and, of course, there is no structural floor category in VG).

I really don't want to put in a foundation slab, since that is a completely different category of object (and not subject to copy/monitor). View range and its cut plane are both above the floor level, so it should be showing.

    Any thoughts?

    Thanks!

As a follow-up, I opened a second session of Revit and then opened up a structural file where the floor (NOT foundation slab) was visible. Compared view properties, visibility graphics, view range, etc. to make sure everything was the same in both files. Floor still does not show in my file, but does show in the other file.

key here being that you copy monitored the element, it is NOT a structural floor.

Try changing your discipline filter to "coordination"

Otherwise create a filter, maybe filter by material, and it should show up

Thanks for the tip about a filter. There was a filter labeled "Interior" in both of the files, but that filter had been edited in the one project to remove floors as one of the categories. As soon as I edited the filter in my project, the floor(s) appeared. Problem solved. Thanks again
