    Default Doors and insulation

    Hi

everyone, I'm using Revit 2016 for a couple of months now. I'm kind of stuck with a door problem now, wish you can help me on this. I have a door made in a insulated concrete wall. The insulation must cover the door frame. I can create a proper insulation because of the void made for the door.
Door + insulation.JPG Any idea how I can manage this? Thanks in advance

The insulation that can be seen here is a 2D element I draw on my plan, but I need a 3D here...

Would it be acceptable to model the insulation in the door family? Is the wall you're showing with concrete+insulation+gwb one basic wall family? If so, I assume you have deleted the opening in the door family template and created a void that allows you to cut a wider opening in the concrete wall and a narrower one in the insulation. A little more info (or a Revit file with a sample wall + door) would be helpful to effectively answer your question.
