    Default Change of blocks

    Hello everyone
state that I am not a top with autocad
I modified a number of blocks to needs related to excel
That is, I took the original block and then I exploded to erase the unnecessary attributes and change the scale and the insertion point.
So far, so good in fact, the block is inserted correctly without problems.
But now 'springs to this problem
In a form of excel-vba, I entered the DwgThumbnail control
with the right code I display original blocks BUT not those modified by me
    Could you tell me why
    thank you

I did several tests and I noticed that I have to save the block with the 2010 version of AutoCAD to view it.
the result is bad, the image is grainy
I have the DwgThumbnail module version 4.0.0.0 Year 2012
you know if it exists for autocad 2015, most recent version

That's just the way thumbnails are. They are very small raster images only a few pixels wide. They don't scale up very well, unlike vector images. Their main purpose is to give you a preview in Windows Explorer.

BTW, we have a vba forum here: http://forums.augi.com/forumdisplay....BA-COM-Interop

    Thanks Ed
I did several tests , I finally found this quite satisfactory solution
    new layer
    Insert a block
    zoom extents
    command " BLOCKICON "
    save type layer: *.dwg ver.2010
after excel in form I see previewcont_tattile.GIF
Now I go to see in the forum that you suggested
    thank you
