Default Float drawings and files outside AutoCAD

I wish there was a way to float files and drawings outside the AutoCAD application window, just like you can do in Photoshop. I tried to post that in the wish list but not sure I did it correctly. Also, where do you vote on wishes; I can't find that anywhere.

I'm not familiar with what you mean.

Do you mean you want to take a document window and move it outside of the main application window space?

#25 in the AutoCAD Wish List now: https://www.augi.com/wish-list/vote/autocad

    Floating Paperspace

    Summary:
Modelspace on 1 monitor and paperspace of the same drawing on another monitor

Product / Feature: AutoCAD / User Interface

    Full Description:
Most designers/engineers work with 2 monitors. They all work in both in Modelspace and in Paperspace. You need to switch a lot etween those tow environments.

It would be the ultimate help if it was possible to work on 1 monitor in Modelspace and see Paperspace on the other mnitor and were able to switch just by moving the mouse to the other monitor.

Other concurrent programs have similar functionality.
