    Default Civil 3d subassemblies

I am trying to create an assembly for a containment dike (levee) and a dike borrow area on the side. I am new to this and was wondering which subassemblies I should use. I tried using a simple noise barrier (berm) but am not able to put in top elev. I've attached picture of what I'm trying to achieve.

So if you wanted to use the noise barrier, it gives you 3 nice options for defining it. 1. Foreslope, slope going up, 2. Height, top of berm elevation, 3. Backslope slope going down.

I would add an option to daylight onto the back of the barrier so that it will cut or fill into the existing surface.

The dike you should be able to use a ditch or create something using links.

I did not see an option for top of berm elevation.

Noise Barrier.PNG See image attached, forgot to embed it. Sorry.

What you want to do is change the "Height" of the subassemby. This wont be the the actually top of berm elevation, it will be the distance from grade you need to get to the top of the berm. So if the grade elevation is 50 feet and you need your top of berm to be 65 feet, the height of the subassembly will be 15 feet.

    Does that make sense?

If the height is not a constant you can use the generic links. Try the LinkSlopeToElevation. And in case you were not aware if you right-click on a subassembly in the palette you can choose help which provides a nice description of how the subassembly works.
