    Default Autocad and Revit

    Hi guys,
I am amateur in Autocad, i have a question to ask. Does any one know is there any possible way to know if a file opened by Autocad is converted from Revit file? Thanks in advance

Definitively, I don't think so. However, when a file is exported from Revit, the layers and blocks that are created should be indicative of this. For example, elements that are exported as Blocks in AutoCAD will be named after their Family name in Revit. You could also look at the Export Settings in Revit (Application Menu [the big 'R'] > Export > CAD Formats > DWG > Select Export Setup [...] button) and see how the layer names in AutoCAD correlate with these. Basically, by evaluating the AutoCAD file, you should be able to discern whether it's an exported file or not, but there is no direct method that I'm aware of.

    I hope this helps.
