No, not at all. I found that both the original and the revised pattern versions readily loaded to Revit 2016 as INCH DRAFTING patterns.

But to load that pattern as a MODEL pattern (it is very small) you can either

• edit the pattern to include a line reading ;%TYPE=MODEL just after the line containing *patternname and bump up the scale while reloading it to Revit from the .PAT file
• use the Add-In to directly create a MODEL fill and rescale it within REVIT without having to edit or reload from the .PAT file
