    Default Door Flips

Does anyone know what is the center point the Revit flips the doors on. I have custom door families with sidelight frames and I want the doors origin points to be on the edge of the frame, not the center of the family, for centering, but when I defined the Left reference plane as the Origin point it seems to have moved to mirror plane as well. Is this the way that it is set up or do I just need to to have a a set and pinned Center reference plane for it to flip on?

Doors flip at the center of the geometry. The only way i can see to shift the flip point is to draw a strong reference plane or invisible line so that the edge of frame is centerline of furthest elements on left and right side
