    Question Revit Color Construction Drawings

We have been investigating the thought of producing our CD set with colors instead of Black and White. Has anyone given this any thought or have you produced any sets this way?

Did you/ would you: color the walls by stud size or fire rating or both? Potentially Code Plan color by fire rating but floor plan by stud size?
Did you / would you: put all annotation elements on one color or separate them out?

I've seen that done (color) and in my opinion it's the best way to communicate your designs. I seriously wish the entire industry did it. It works particularly well for mechanical systems.

As far as what to use color for: anything that needs communicated a bit better. It's a design communication tool.
