Default Fleetwood window families unable to offset form exterior

I need little help figuring out how to use Fleetwood window families. no matter what i do when i place the family it gets placed in the center of wall thickness. in reality of course, this hardly ever happens and i need to offset the location in the wall certain distance from exterior face. but i am not sure how. in the family itself if i change the wall offset parameter it offsets all the elements of window (glass, handles screen) but not the window frame. it is somehow locked in the center and i am not sure how to find a way around this. any idea? Fleetwood door families have this option implemented and i can easily change the offset there. but it is not featured in window family. attaching window family.

    thanks

you will need to edit the family so that all the modeled elements are associated to a plane which is parametered to the face or centerline of the host wall so that when you change this parameter (inset or whatever you want to call it) it moves the entirety of the window within the opening cut.
