    Default Usable/livable Space

    Hi

I'm using Revit 2015 and I was wondering there is a way to place a room in a place which is defined by the rooms usable space. For example if i am placing a room in a loft or top floor space where the roof slopes down. How can i define the room where only the space with a 1200mm clearance is able to be used?

    Thanks

    Owen

you can place a room separation line on the floor plan at the boundary where the ceiling becomes shorter than the 1200mm. That is probably the easiest way. I don't think there is a way to automatically detect this.
