Default Phantom recovery drawings with profile switch

I'm confused by this and wonder if anyone has suggestions. When we create a profile to use company wide, it stores drawing files in it some place. So when users import or load our company profile for the first time, the drawing recovery manager pops up asking to address a missing drawing(s). Sometimes multiple removes are needed to clear that list out. These are drawings that I have used for testing on my computer at some point prior to exporting the profile out.

Is there someplace in the profile code that stores these drawings that I could clean out prior to releasing the profile?

The exported profile is a .arg file -- which is nothing but formatted text. Open your saved .arg in notepad, and search for the names that come up.

And is the same as a REG file exported from the registry. How was the profile generated and distributed? Through deliberate export to ARG, or exporting contents from the registry editor? I'm thinking something hitched a ride somewhere.

One of the things I do when creating a standard profile is go through that text file and strip away anything that's not strictly necessary for the first run (automation handles changes after that). That includes user-controlled settings like display colors and OSNAP settings.

The 'Drawing Recovery' information is stored here in Registry hive, and subsequently same within .ARG (aka .REG) file:
    Code:
    HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Autodesk\AutoCAD\R##.#\ACAD-A000:###\Profiles\<YourProfileName>\Drawing Recovery\Unresolved
