I have an existing surface that has been recently adjusted with smooth. Does the corridor surface change?

There is a existing ground surface, the corridor surface is the design road surface with daylighting and it targets the existing ground surface. The existing ground surface has been smoothed. Does that change the corridor surface in terms of volume?

No. The two surfaces at independently from each other, unless you paste them into one surface.

There will be a difference when you perform a volume check between the corridor and the smoothed existing surface, from the existing surface that was not smooth. The volumes should be close though.
