It's been a few years since I shared anything here. This is a fire hydrant symbol. It gets inserted at the center of a waterline, rotated as needed.
The dynamic part is that you can stretch the "leader" length of the pipe leading to the hydrant. Where I am located the minimum length is 4' and maximum is 20' so that is the limitations that I put on the stretch in 6" increments. What makes this user friendly, is that after you stretch this to the length/location you need, there is a dimension that resides on a no-plot layer that tells you what the length is. Again, here we have to state that length in our notes.
