    Question Downgrading an aerial Image

    Hello guys and girls,

does anybody know how to downsize/downgrade or somehow make an aerial Image smaller in size so it loads up faster on Map 3D, the current one that I have is about 500MB and makes it very slow, it doesn't matter if it losses some of its quality as long as its faster.

    CHeers.

First, save the Geotiff header, then decrease the color depth to 8 bit, finally save as .TIF with LZW compression, sir.
