Merge Text Styles

I am using Civil 3D and have drawings with various text styles that I want to merge together.
So I would need to type in the unwanted style(s) then the new style name. To be simple I have renamed the unwanted styles to number 1,2,3,4 etc. and I want them to be merged to the Standard style.
I have found and tried a hand full of various routines that will not work.

Because this is a Civil 3d Drawing I need to truly merge the text styles (not just pick objects and change their style.)

Is this even possible?

Incredible dialog box routine by Tim Willey that lets you select as many styles found in use to merge in one column and select the style to merge to in another column. Options include deleting merge styles as well as creating new ones and setting current text and dim text styles. One of my top 5 downloads!
