    Default Background image corrupt

    Hello

    When I put background image in perspective view, like sky or street scene, in rendered view that image always is corruted, is not useless, or in elevation render ... Image is jpg or bmp or tga.
    Even I put his clouds that is no good
    Do You have idea.
    Or You use some other way for backgroud image.

    looks like your background image is a low resoluition image so when you render at a high res it gets pixilated.

    Background image is 1280*960 but render is 2K or 4K, it looks that image is with 8 or 16 colors, not 16 milion.
    That is original, but this is problem with almost every image in background.

    be sure your image is RGB not CMYK.

    It is RGB and that is happen if I put revit clouds in background not only image

    IMHO the corrupted render looks fantastic Archigram or 8-bit Nintento.

    It will be easiest to do the (.png) method if you have an external image editor or, just export to png then re-import / insert the png render and, the background photo into a drafting view.

    External image editor allows use of variety of appropriate tools for composition.
    Revit has no capacity for anything like that (unlike VectorWorks, another BIM application).
