    Default Electrical annotation symbol issue

I am using a light switch family provided by the manufacturer MK electric, I have tried to add an annotation symbol to the family and failed.
I have attached the family and some images, can anyone shed some light on why I can’t add an annotation symbol and if there is a solution?

First time using the form, so apologies for any mistakes.

Default Re: Electrical annotation symbol issue

this is one of many reasons i never use manufacture families. This is a light fixture family that is using the electrical fixtures category. not wrong but a little misleading. Are you adding a lighting tag? I added our standard lighting fixture tag parameter and switched the category to lighting fixtures and it works fine for me.
