Welcome to AUGI! If you're looking for a software "apples to apples" comparison between trades, then yes...we use both C3D and Revit. Infraworks would be an additional BIM tool. It's important to remember BIM is not necessarily a software. It's a happy mess of modeling, information and process. Whatever tools you use to complete that process...Civil 3D, Infraworks, AutoCAD, Revit etc. can all be part of that. It's how the model is being used. Our civil guys tend to think that they are "outside" of the BIM process, but when used to create a complete "building model" and information...that's all considered "BIM".
It requires a very unusual mind to undertake the analysis of the obvious.
