Default How to Add workset to existing central file?

How do I add a workset to an existing central file? Do I simply open the central file, add the workset, and save it?

You can either open the central or open your local, open the workset dialogue and create the workset, then save. If you use the central be sure nobody else is in the file.

Thanks. I suppose that means that any team member who has access to the central file can do this!?

Yes they can. Always a good idea to have a plan for the project outlining what worksets will be created and what objects belong on those worksets. If it's not obvious my preference is to make sure everyone knows that Workset 1 is the 'default' place to put everything.
You can use a 'welcome page' drafting view as your starting view and have the Workset list there so it reminds people every time they open the project.

Thx. I think we're going to start off with just the 2 default worksets, shared levels and grids, and workset 1. Since at least two team members will need to have access to edit the levels and grids, I'm hesitant to make it editable for the Bim manager just to force everyone to place everything workset1. How do you do it?

Element borrowing allows users to basically work as usual. Revit handles traffic control in the background so there should be no need to lock anyone out of a workset. Just suggesting that users need to be aware of which Workset is active as they model. Two worksets is pretty easy to manage.
