    Default SAVE-Different User

I've been working on a project and when I tried to save I get the Cannont Save Local File error, (see attached). I only have 2 user names and neither 1 will allow me to save this file. Not sure why this is even a thing. But I now can't save any of the changes and I have no idea which user it's trying to use. I'm the one who created the Local and Central files. This is very confusing and frustrating. Please tell me there is a way to save this file. Attachment 104843

Should be able to save as a new central if nothing else.
And then save it back over the existing. If you're truly the only one in it, shouldn't be a problem.
You can look at the file history to see what user name the project was last saved under.
you can also open up the workset dialog box and check all the options below and see if someone else owns it.
    Just some thoughts.

I've tried all of that and I only keep getting that Error. I can't get passed it. The User it's asking for is the Windows User. I'm rarely ever signed into any Autodesk program. So I though signing out and then trying to change the user name through revit would work, but it tells me I have to save first before I can change the User. Which of course I can't save. This is the first time I've ever had this issue. I've been using the same computer for 3 years. I really don't want to close this file without saving.

so you've tried to save the local file and you can't do that either? If you can save local, I'd just open detached and do that again.
If you can't do any of that, you might be out of luck.
then you'd be looking at trying to recreate the file from your journal, but that may not work either.
When you say it's asking for the "Windows User" I'm not sure what you mean. Revit you should have set that for you.
Just some more thoughts, but I haven't run into that one yet.

It won't let me do any type of save at all. As far as the Windows user. My Windows user is Called Devin. That is the only user named Devin on this computer.
