no properties

after creating a new drawing and inserting a point file (PNEZD), when i select a point, there are no properties shown.
no point number, no style, not anything civil 3d related. autocad info under the general category are there but nothing else.

what's up?

if i hover over a point and highlight it, it shows all the data about the point, but not in the properties dialog

not sure why that happened but, i closed the program, rebooted my machine and reopened the drawing i was in and everything is fine now.

After 5 years they upgraded my PC last week. Before that if I didn't reboot my PC at least once a day I must not have been working hard enough.
