R17 Keynote txt file / Tags are shown but keynote info is missing until reset of view range.

Hi everyone, I am having trouble figuring out what this info is and if anyone has a similar issue.
The problem is we work with a keynote file and tag our annotations in the floor plan model space. everything works as expected. keynote and the keynote legend populates. however when we update our model with "other firms models" audit and all that jazz. we come back and find that the keynote legend on sheets are missing most keynote values and text. we found that if we mess with depth clipping or view range it will show up properly. we never had this issue with previous versions. also this model was upgraded from 2016 to 2017, which may be a thing.

any info or experiences appreciated. for a workaround I probably control depth clipping through a view template.

Same problem, have been unable to find a workaround... Did you get your issue resolved?

EDIT: (apparently fixed in update 2017.2 - have not confirmed, updating now)
