Default How to install dotNet tempplates

    Hi all

I've recently tried to install the dotNet API for AutoCAD 2014 onto my computer with VS 2015 (community). Through the process I've downloaded the self extracting exe from the Autodesk website and have ran the extract. Unfortunately that's as far as I've managed to get. When I open VS the templates are not available in the new project templates list.

Is there another step required to get the templates to appear?

    Welcome to AUGI.

I experienced this issue myself a while back; see if this old Autodesk forum thread helps:

You can find AutoCAD 2013 to 2017 plugin project templates for Visual studio 2015 here.
These are basic templates which automatically launch AutoCAD and load the DLL when starting Debug (F5).

Save the ZIP(s) file(s) you need in the Visual Studio project Template folder (default: .\Documents\Visual Studio 2015\Templates\ProjectTemplates).

If acad.exe path is not C:\Program Files\Autodesk\AutoCAD 2014 or if the AutoCAD libraries (accormgd.dll, acdbmgd.dll, acmgd.dll) are not in C:\ObjectARX 2014\inc, change these paths in the AutoCAD2014Plugin.csproj which is in the ZIP file.
