Default Cased Opening that does not create a room boundary

I am trying to figure out if there is a way to create a wall opening with a decorative frame that will not create a room boundary. I know you can create a non-room bounding wall opening using the wall opening tool but there does not appear to be a way to add a cased frame. I suppose I could create a generic model that I insert in addition to the wall opening? Does anybody have a way to accomplish this?
    Thanks for any input.

Create the opening and trim as a wall or face based generic model and it will not be room bounding.

    Dimitri -
thanks for the quick response - that is kinda what I figured the answer would be. Does anybody have a trim family already created they would be willing to share?

Depending on the profile you are considering you can use a sweep that follows the path of your opening. When creating the sweep use the 'pick' option and select the edges of your opening.
