LAYER FILTERS

is there a known problem with layer filters in c3d 2016? i can't get anything to work. group of property filter.
it will create the filter in the layer filters properties dialog, but it doesn't display in the layer properties manager, all i get is all layers.
help.

i don't about this thing they call autocad.....LOL. i finally decided to close the drawing and reopen it and VOILA'. the filters work now. go figure.

LOL, I've done that twice today, much better than years ago when I had to reboot on a regular basis to "fix" things. They'll probably get the last of the kinks out right after I retire.

Well it did it again, same drawing, same problem.
not sure what's causing it.

also, scrolling in the layer property windows is very slow, it freezes and then has to catch up to it self.

audit and purge maybe -- also purge out un-used styles from the Manage Ribbon

How many layers does the drawing have?
What's MAXSORT (System Variable) set to?

I did do an audit and -purge....had 6 errors which were fixed.

it has a total of 281 layers.

it's funny, the filter will work when i first open the drawing, but at some point it ceases to work, not sure what's causing the problem.

maxsort is set to 1000

When it stops working in the layer manager palette, does it work ok in the ClassicLayer dialog?
