Edit block definition

i have a block that is a hexagon with a number attribute centered inside the hexagon. they were created on a layer other than zero.
i used the block editor to change the layer of the hexagon to zero and the mtext attribute to zero and color bylayer.

however, the attribute text (mtext) apparently had the color yellow assigned to it when it was created and even though it is set to bylayer the color doesn't change.
i can edit each one individually, but is there a way to globally edit the properties of the mtext attribute.

Try the ATTSYNC command after you redefine the block.
