We're using good ol' Shared Network Folders and we don't need any addins to load from the cloud. We do have VPN for a remote access which is more complex to setup than cloud storage, but IT staff takes care of it.
We currently use (in-house) network folders. We had been looking at better ways to organize the content, some of which were cloud-based and at least one of which kept the actual content on the office network. We got "distracted" by a number of other tasks and events, and need to get back to evaluating that. Sorry I can't be more help at this time.
We use Dropbox for our family files and project files - automatically syncs across all devices so current files are always current and available.
