Default Controlling View Visibility States in Linked File _ Revit Structure

I am having one project file and linked file, where in both I have done rebar. For Viewing bar in 3d and obscured, I am only able to select the 'view visibility states' for project file.It is not available for linked file.
How can we see rebsr in 3d for a linked file. Thanks in advance.

Have you tried setting the visibility for the Revit Link to "Custom"? this is where you can modify what and how you see things in a linked model.

Hii Ted. Thanks. I tried but there is no options in VG to control the View visibility of Rebar. Please go through the Images.1.JPG2.JPG

Ok I don't know for sure, but it looks like your "linked" rebar view is set to course and the host rebar is set to medium or fine (are these in the same view?).
If so, try looking at how you have this set, it should be "By View", but if it's set to "Course" that is your problem (see screen shot).
