How do you undo a twist in a layout (paper space) view?
|
Are you referring to rotation of the view within a viewport? Make sure the viewport is not locked, double click inside of it. Issue the dview command. It will prompt for objects just hit enter. It will prompt for action select tw for twist, then enter 0 for the angle. It will then go back to the prompt for twist, you can then escape out of the command, reposition the viewport lock it and double click back into paperspace
Thank you much Chris. I give you 5 stars for that answer. What I wound up doing was erasing the entire view port and rebuilding it. I knew there was a better way.
Since you are a whiz bang at this stuff, I got another one for you. Sometimes I get a horizontal geometry point for an alignment labeled -0+00 instead of 0+00 at the alignment starting point. In the alignment properties, it shows the correct value (no negative sign). I have no idea why and unless I erase the label, there is no way i know of changing this. Hopefully they fixed this in the 2018 version. Any ideas?
I cant say i have ever seen that issue. Could you post a drawing that exhibits this behavior so i can mess around with it?
I can reproduce a beginning station label of -0+00 in 2016 by seting the beginning station to -0.0001. The value still rounds to 0+00 in the label but holds on to the negative sign.
