When a PDF file is imported, is there a way to maintain the dashed lines which are a part of the PDF as dashed lines in the AutoCAD drawing?
It would be nice, but difficult to do. No way to know what linetype scaling was used to create them so I'm guessing it would come in as dashed at a certain scale instead of dashed2 or dashedX2. Beyond dashed there's an endless amount of custom linetypes out there not counting complex ones which means they would probably only be able to do it for the ones that come installed like shp fonts.
I output PDF's as requested for those who are afraid of drawing files, but try to work with them only after exhausting efforts to obtain a drawing instead.
